SPEED RAMP • OPTICAL FLOW

Speed Ramp Optical Flow

Create ultra-smooth cinematic speed ramps on macOS using GPU optical flow (RIFE / CoreML). Export ProRes or H.265 (HEVC), then finish your edit in your NLE.

Download the macOS app.

Optical flow smooths motion while preserving cinematic ramp feel.

Minimum requirement: Apple Silicon (M1) with 8GB RAM. Exports can be slow on longer clips, but the optical flow quality is worth the wait.

Purchase includes a 7-day access key, and up to 3 downloads. If you lose the installer later, email support and we’ll help you with a new key.

What You Get

  • Speed ramp curve editor (Option/Alt+click to add keyframes)
  • GPU optical flow export (CoreML RIFE)
  • ProRes + HEVC exports
  • Ultra / 4K model selection (where supported)
  • Project resolution export and source-resolution export

Notes

  • Export is video-only (audio is preview-only inside the app)
  • Very high-resolution models can be slow on some Macs
  • Best results: render the ramp first, then do final edit in your NLE
  • Montage Room Desktop timeline: ProRes optical-flow clips preview at lower resolution because the editor does not support native ProRes playback yet. Export from Desktop stays full quality — the soft timeline look is preview-only.
